To accommodate the expected increase in passenger traffic during Chaitra Navratri, the Indian Railways will be making some changes to train schedules and adding extra coaches. Tilak Terminus-Chhapra Express, Chennai-Chhapra Express, Valsad-Muzaffarpur Express, Durg-Nautanwa Express, Pune-Gorakhpur Express, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Ranchi Express, Pune-Banaras Express, and Surat-Chhapra Express. Additionally, 8 trains running on the Jammu route, including the Begam Pura Express, Kolkata-Jammu Tawi, Himgiri Express, Archana Express, Amarnath Express, Ghazipur-Vaishno Devi Express, Humsafar Express, and Lohit Express, will have extra coaches added to reduce waiting lists. IRCTC is also offering a religious tour starting on April 25th, covering destinations like Baidyanath, Gaya, Puri, Konark, Gangasagar, Kolkata, Varanasi, and Ayodhya.
