Consequently, 6 new special trains have been introduced for the convenience of passengers. Separately, the Western Railway announced two weekly special trains running between Sabarmati-Patna and Ahmedabad-Patna to accommodate the increased demand. The Sabarmati-Patna train will depart every Tuesday at 6:10 PM, reaching Patna at 2:00 AM the following day. The Patna-Sabarmati train will leave every Thursday at 5:00 AM, arriving in Sabarmati at 1:30 PM the next day. The Ahmedabad-Patna train will depart every Sunday at 4:35 PM, reaching Patna at 10:45 PM the next day. The Patna-Ahmedabad train will leave every Tuesday at 1:00 AM, arriving in Ahmedabad at 7:10 AM the next day.
