Eligible candidates include those who have participated in prestigious sports competitions like men's football, men's weightlifting, men's athletics, men's and women's boxing, men's swimming, men's table tennis, men's and women's hockey, badminton, men's and women's kabaddi, men's and women's wrestling, and men's chess. The minimum age requirement is 18 years and the maximum is 25 years, calculated as of July 1st, 2024. No age relaxation is provided for reserved categories. The educational qualification for Group D is a 10th pass. The salary for the position is Level-1 with a grade pay of Rs. 1800/- under the 6th CPC. Candidates must have represented the country in any category C championship or event, or secured at least third place in the Federation Cup Championship (senior category), or represented a state or equivalent unit (excluding marathon or cross country), or achieved at least 8th place in the senior national championship. The selection process consists of four stages: screening and application scrutiny, document verification, sports trials, and evaluation of sports achievements and academic qualifications. The final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks awarded by the Trial Committee and the Recruitment Committee. Selected candidates will undergo a probation period of two years. The application fee is Rs. 500, with a reduced fee of Rs. 250 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
