Before the diversion, the Jind-Bathinda route saw about 50 passenger and express trains, along with 30 freight trains, requiring only one or two gate closures per hour. Now, gates are closed every 5 minutes. The Railway Superintendent at Jind Station has confirmed that the diverted trains will follow their original schedule once the Ambala track is reopened.
