Chikkabanavara, including 12 stations, 6 of them elevated and 6 at-grade. Each package is estimated to cost over Rs 500 crore. The civil works for Corridor 2 were awarded to L&T in 2022 with a completion period of 27 months, and about 27% of the work has been completed. The new tender will include detailed design aspects and is expected to be finalized after the model code of conduct is lifted. Corridor 2 is a priority project for K-Ride and is expected to be operational by 2026. The overall project has been sanctioned over Rs 15,767 crore, excluding the cost of rolling stock.
