The victim's leg was severed and he died on the spot. While the exact reason for his presence on the railway tracks is unclear, local residents believe he committed suicide. His wife, Gita Devi, stated that he left home for his shop that morning but arrived at the scene of the accident and found him dead. Despite his disability, which caused difficulty in walking, she was unsure why he went to the station. Authorities investigated the incident, conducted an autopsy, and released the body to his family.

paon kat gaya aur unki maut wahi ho gayi. Wajah toh pata nahi chal paya ki wo railway track par kya kar rahe the, lekin local log maan rahe hain ki unhone aatmahatya ki. Unki biwi Gita Devi ne bataya ki woh subah ghar se apni dukaan ke liye nikle the, lekin jab unhe is ghatna ka pata chala toh woh waha pahuche aur unhe maut ka shikar hote dekha. Unki ek taang bhi nahi thi aur unhe chalne me takleef hoti thi, toh woh station par kya kar rahe the, yeh toh unhe bhi nahi pata. Police ne case ki jaanch ki, postmortem kiya aur unka shav unke parivaar ko de diya.
