The Esplanade station is significant as it will connect three lines - Purple, Blue, and Green - providing convenient interchange options for commuters. Larsen & Toubro is expected to utilize two tunnel boring machines for tunnel construction in this package. The Purple Line, though facing delays, aims to connect South Kolkata's residential areas with central Kolkata's commercial hubs. The Joka – Majerhat section, 7.74km long, is currently operational, and the complete line is expected to enhance connectivity and accessibility for residents.

Larsen & Toubro is package mein tunnel banane ke liye do tunnel boring machines use karenge. Purple Line, thoda delay ka saamna kar raha hai, lekin yeh South Kolkata ke residential areas ko central Kolkata ke commercial hubs se connect karne ka lakshya rakhta hai. Joka – Majerhat section, 7.74km lamba, abhi operational hai, aur poora line residents ke liye connectivity aur accessibility improve karega.
