Indore, Lakshmibai Nagar, and Ujjain stations. The Railway Safety Commission will inspect the new line on May 27th, after which operations on the second line will commence. The construction work for the second line, spanning 9.5 km, was initiated in March 2022 and has recently been completed. The platform 1 at Mahu railway station has also been upgraded. From May 11th to 26th, the railway construction department will complete the preparatory work for the Railway Safety Commission's inspection, followed by the commission's thorough inspection on May 27th. During these 17 days, all two pairs of passenger trains and four pairs of Demu trains operating between Indore and Mahu will be suspended. Malwa Express, Indore-Bhopal-Indore Intercity, Kamakhya Express, Yashvantpur Express, Nagpur Express will be operated from Indore railway station. Additionally, all Demu trains operating between Mahu and Ratlam will be operated from Indore railway station. The Prayagraj Express and Patna Special will be operated from Lakshmibai Nagar railway station. The Indore-Bilaspur Express will be operated from Ujjain, while the Indore-Bilaspur-Indore Narmada Express and Mahu-Rewa-Mahu Express will also be operated from Ujjain. The work at Mahu station includes yard remodeling, involving removal of the extra line, signaling, and connecting the new line. This work will take approximately 15 days to complete and will be suspended on May 13th due to voting.
