During the inspection, 66 passengers were caught travelling without tickets or with irregular tickets, and fines totaling ₹41,480 were collected. Divisional Commercial Manager Ramesh Pandey inspected the reservation center to curb ticket scalping and verified sleeper class tickets booked under Tatkal scheme. He also questioned the Tatkal ticket holders and found all of them to be genuine. The officials inspected the development works underway under the Amrit Bharat scheme, including decorative items and food stalls, inquiry counters, UTS counters, parking, and circulating area, as part of the 'One Station One Product' initiative. They instructed water vending machine and food stall operators to implement digital payment methods. A camp was set up in the general passenger waiting area near the booking office to train passengers on booking tickets using mobile apps. Over 200 people downloaded the app during the campaign. This effort was led by Commercial Inspector Rajendra Kumar Singh and Chief Commercial Clerk, among others.
