Sita Kumari of the Jharkhand Rural Development Trust. A team, including the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Chairman Uttam Mukherjee, reached the hospital and ensured the boy received proper medical care. The boy, from Bastaikala, revealed he learned to use drugs from his friends. He was subsequently sent to the Sahyog Village Children's Shelter Home in Bokaro. The initiative, part of a larger campaign by the Jharkhand Legal Services Authority (JHALSA), also included a legal aid clinic and Red Cross presence at the station.
