Residents stated that the absence of a crossing has resulted in a 10-kilometer detour for those traveling by bike or car, and has made it difficult for children to attend school and patients to reach hospitals. They also mentioned that the lack of a crossing has been an issue for 45 years, with residents crossing the railway line at their own risk. The protesters threatened to escalate their protest and oppose local representatives if their demands are not met. The protest was attended by several residents, including D.N. Mishra, Pankaj Pandey, Mahesh Kesari, Sunil Kumar Maurya, Pravesh Kumar Maurya, Ramdhuni, Sanjay Mishra, Pravesh Singh, Vishal Singh, Lal Bahadur, Parmeshwar Mishra, Parsnath Singh, Lakhan Singh, Om Prakash Mishra, Shankar Prasad, Vijay Kumar Pandey, and Ramvilas.
