While progress was initially rapid, work has slowed down in recent months, causing immense inconvenience to commuters who face long delays at the railway crossing. Residents highlight the dangers posed by the crossing, particularly during emergencies, as it remains closed for extended periods to allow express trains to pass. The delays have been attributed to changes in pillar designs after discovering an old well, land acquisition issues, and the removal of electric poles. Despite the setbacks, the Highways department aims to complete the project and open the overpass to the public by December of this year.

Kaam shuru mein bahut tez tha, lekin pichle kuchh mahino mein, kaam slow ho gaya hai. Residents ko bahut problem aa rahi hai, kyunki railway crossing har roz lambi der tak band rehta hai, aur emergency mein bahar jaana mushkil ho jaata hai. Highways department ne kaha hai ki project December tak complete ho jaayega.
