While the railway operated three trains (two special trains and Himalayan Queen 52455) from Kalka to Taradevi, these did not reach Shimla, forcing passengers to take private taxis. Ambala division railway officials investigated the damage and started repair work. The initial investigation revealed that the issue stemmed from soil erosion under the bridge. To prevent further damage, an iron base was constructed, and the damaged section is being repaired using a cement-concrete mixture.

Railway ne Kalka se Taradevi tak 3 trains chala di, do special trains aur Himalayan Queen 52455, lekin yeh Shimla tak nahi gayi, toh passengers ko private taxis se Shimla jaana pada. Ambala division ke railway officials ne damage ko check kiya aur repair ka kaam start kar diya. Initial investigation mein pata chala ki mitti khisakne ki wajah se yeh problem aayi thi. Bridge ko damage hone se rokne ke liye, beech mein iron base banaya gaya, aur damaged section ko cement-concrete mixture se repair kiya ja raha hai.
