Twelve-coach local trains start operation from three platforms of Sealdah Station

Sealdah Railway Station in Kolkata, one of the busiest in India, has completed platform expansion work on platforms 1, 2, and 5. This allows for the introduction of 12-coach local trains, increasing passenger capacity by 25% compared to nine-coach trains.
