Railways regrets fatal Incident Onboard Millennium Express

On June 15, 2024, Mr. Ali Khan (60) was traveling on Train No. 12645 Ernakulam – Hazrat Nizamuddin Millennium Express when the middle berth above his lower berth unfolded and hit him, causing injuries. He passed away three days later on June 18, 2024. Indian Railways clarified that the middle berth unfolded due to improper chaining by the passenger, not due to maintenance issues. The railways expressed condolences to Mr. Khan's family and reaffirmed their commitment to passenger safety.

aur Mr. Khan ko ambulance se hospital le jaaya gaya. Unki 3 din baad, 18 June 2024 ko death ho gayi. Indian Railways ne clear kiya ki middle berth passenger ke taraf se improper chaining ki wajah se khula, na ki maintenance ki wajah se. Railways ne Mr. Khan ke family ke saath sympathy express kiya aur passengers ki safety ke liye apna commitment reaffirm kiya.
