by March 2025. Currently, the metro only runs for 9 kilometers between IIT and Motijheel, forcing people to rely on auto-rickshaws and buses for further travel. The project is expected to ease traffic congestion and provide a more convenient transportation option for Kanpur residents.

23 kilometer stretch operational ho jaayega. Abhi, metro sirf 9 kilometer IIT aur Motijheel ke beech chalta hai, logon ko aage jaane ke liye auto-rickshaw aur buses mein dhakke khane padte hain. Project se traffic congestion kam hone ki umeed hai aur Kanpur residents ke liye transport ek convenient option ban jaayega.
