This delay is attributed to a lack of planning by the railway engineering department, as they were aware of the trees during the initial design phase of the underpass. The underpass is expected to benefit a population of approximately 1 lakh residents from Loco Colony, Parsudih, Sarjamda, and Khasmahal, who currently face significant inconvenience due to frequent closures of the Loco Gate crossing, which often forces four-wheeled vehicles to wait for hours.
