misuse from April 2023 to June 2024. 9657 individuals were prosecuted and fined a total of Rs. 63.21 lakhs. The misuse of the alarm chain disrupts train schedules and inconveniences other passengers. Passengers are advised to use alternative means like approaching the train staff or calling Rail Madad (139) for non-emergency situations. Central Railway urges passengers to arrive at the station well in advance and use the alarm chain responsibly only in genuine emergency situations.

June 2024 tak 11,434 misuse cases record kiye hai. 9657 logon ko prosecuted kiya gaya aur unse Rs. 63.21 lakhs fine vasoola gaya. Alarm chain ka misuse train schedule ko kharab karta hai aur dusre passengers ko inconvenience karta hai. Passengers ko non-emergency situations ke liye train staff se baat karna ya Rail Madad (139) par call karna jaise alternative options use karne ki salah di jati hai. Central Railway sabhi passengers se apna journey responsibly plan karne aur station par time pe pahunchne aur genuine emergency situations mein hi alarm chain use karne ki appeal karta hai.
