Lord Jagannath, Devi Subhadra, and Lord Balabhadra, being taken in their chariots from the Lion's Gate of the Jagannath temple to the Gundicha temple, where they will stay for a week. The chariots will be pulled by devotees on Sunday afternoon. The rituals of 'Nabajouban Darshan' and 'Netra Utsav' will also be conducted on the same day. Extensive security arrangements have been made for the festival, including 180 platoons of security personnel, CCTV cameras, a green corridor for emergencies, and special arrangements for President Murmu's visit. The fire service department has deployed 46 fire tenders and will be spraying water to combat the heat.
