The station's platforms are being upgraded with two travelators, similar to those at airports, to facilitate easier movement for passengers, especially women, seniors, children, disabled individuals, and patients. Construction has begun, with a new FOB being built near the existing one on platform 1. The project is expected to be completed in three years. The main station building will be 17,900 square meters, the second entrance will be 7,400 square meters, the roof plaza will be 10,800 square meters, ticket windows will cover 300 square meters, the waiting area will be 6,300 square meters, and the station can accommodate 1,80,000 passengers daily. The project will provide world-class facilities, including the travelators, benefitting all passengers.
