distance of around 1,000 kilometers, passing through key cities like Kanpur, Allahabad, and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction. The train is expected to depart Dhanbad at 11:00 AM and arrive in New Delhi at 4:45 AM the next day. The return journey will depart New Delhi at 7:00 AM and arrive in Dhanbad around 10:00 PM the same day. This new train is anticipated to provide a much-needed alternative to existing trains, which currently have long waiting lists due to high passenger demand on the Howrah-New Delhi Grand Cord Section. The proposed train is expected to boost revenue for the railways and provide better travel options for commuters, particularly those traveling between Dhanbad and Kodarma. In addition to the new Dhanbad-New Delhi train, a proposal has also been made to start a new train between Dhanbad and Mumbai via Kodarma, which will benefit residents of Hazaribagh, Giridih, Kodarma, Hazaribagh Town, Ramgarh, and the Bihar districts of Nawada and Rajauli.
