The meeting discussed strategies to hold the railway administration accountable for these issues. Sanjeevan Singh, presiding over the meeting, highlighted the rampant corruption in construction and repair work in the railway area, including road and stadium wall construction, alleging that officials are only concerned with collecting commissions. Pappu Yadav, convenor of the Struggle Front and district president of the Samajwadi Party, blamed the central government's inaction for the decline of the Indian Railways. He criticized the Amrit Bharat scheme, calling it a scheme for loot and plunder, and accused the DRM of the Malda division of being the main culprit. He also mentioned the death of railway employee Saroj Chaudhary, who was crushed by a tractor four months ago, and the lack of a public investigation report, indicating the RPF's involvement. The Struggle Front vowed to fight against the railway administration's wrongdoing. Krishna Nand Raut, the district in-charge of the BSP, and Ravikant Jha, the former state general secretary of the JAP, attributed the increased workload in the diesel shed to the efforts of the Struggle Front, not to the efforts of sycophantic railway unions.
