To manage the extra passenger rush, the Indian Railways will operate special trains between Tirunelveli and Shalimar on specific dates. PM on Saturday, July 20th and 27th, 2024, arriving Tirunelveli at 1:15 PM on Monday. These special trains will halt at several stations en route, including Kovilpatti, Virudunagar, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Karaikkudi, Pudukkotai, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddachalam, Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai, Vellore Cantt, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Perambur, Nellore, Ongole, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Duvvada, Pendurti, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Rd, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Rd, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Baleshwar, Kharagpur and Santragachi in both directions. These special trains will comprise Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches.
