the State Maritime & Waterways Transport Committee (SMWTC) on July 16. The meeting, chaired by MoPSW Secretary TK Ramachandran, aimed to ensure comprehensive development of maritime and waterways transport across India. The official also highlighted the importance of the Sagarmala Programme and the National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC) at Lothal in boosting India's maritime heritage and infrastructure. SMWTCs have already been established in 13 states with plans to expand to all coastal and waterways states and Union Territories.

Meeting ko MoPSW Secretary TK Ramachandran ne chair kiya tha aur yeh meeting pura India mein maritime aur waterways transport ke comprehensive development ko ensure karne ke liye thi. Official ne Sagarmala Programme aur Lothal mein National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC) ke importance ko bhi highlight kiya, yeh dono India ke maritime heritage aur infrastructure ko boost karne mein important role nibhate hain. SMWTCs abhi tak 13 states mein establish ho chuke hain aur plans hai ki yeh sabhi coastal aur waterways states aur Union Territories mein expand kiye jaaye.
