single-track line ki wajah se bahut delay hota hai. Ek teesri track ki survey chal rahi hai, par yeh kai jagah pe existing track se deviate ho rahi hai, isse challenging terrain ko avoid kiya ja sake aur land acquisition se related issues kam ho sake. Nayi bridge ko Ottapalam mein existing bridge ke saath banaya jaayega, isse total 3 ya 4 track ban jayenge.
