more... demanded an underpass. In 2019, during the assembly elections, Sukhram Uraon, the then JMM district president and Chakradharpur MLA, promised to build an underpass. After winning the election, he contacted the railways through the Municipal Council, but they refused, citing the existing flyover. However, they agreed to build the underpass if the Municipal Council paid for it. After two years of negotiations, the railways approved the underpass design submitted by the Municipal Council and estimated the construction cost at approximately ₹3.56 crore. The MLA arranged the funds from the DMF (District Mineral Foundation) fund, and the Municipal Council paid ₹7.12 lakh as EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) and ₹3.56 crore through a cheque in January. The railways then laid the concrete for the underpass, but the construction has been delayed for the past six months. Due to the delay, school children and locals continue to risk their lives by crossing the railway tracks, raising concerns of a potential accident.

Par agar municipal council paise dega, toh railway underpass bana dega. Do saal ki baat chit ke baad, railway ne municipal council ke diye underpass design ko approve kar diya aur construction cost 3.56 crore rupees aanki. MLA ne DMF (District Mineral Foundation) fund se paise arrange kiye, aur municipal council ne 7.12 lakh EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) aur 3.56 crore cheque se January mein pay kiya. Railway ne underpass ke liye cement ka concrete bana diya, lekin construction 6 mahine se delay hai. Delay ki wajah se, school ke bache aur locals railway tracks cross karne mein apni jaan khatre mein dal rahe hain, aur ek accident hone ka khauf hai.
