This period coincides with the major festivals of Hareli and Rakshabandhan, causing inconvenience to the people of Chhattisgarh as they travel to visit their families during these festivities. The Congress has demanded that the practice of disrupting train services in the name of maintenance be stopped immediately as it is adversely affecting the people of Chhattisgarh.
