This initiative follows the success of similar projects at 7 stations in the Dhanbad division, including Gazhandi, Hazaribagh Town, Barkakana, Parasnath, Garhwa Road, and Nagar Untari. These plants have generated 5.60 lakh kW of electricity in FY 2023-24, saving the Railways ₹22.54 lakh in electricity costs.
