The terminus will also be easily accessible for commuters due to its proximity to Metro Lines 7, 2A, and 6. The project is expected to improve overall rail operations by reducing congestion at existing terminals.

Andheri aur Churchgate ke beech local trains ki punctuality ko behtar banayega. Ye Bandra Terminus aur Mumbai Central se chalne wali 12 long-distance trains ko sambhal payega aur 24 coaches wali trains ke liye banaye gaye platforms bhi honge. Terminus Metro Line 7, 2A, aur 6 ke paas hone ki wajah se commuters ke liye aasani se pahunchne wala hai. Ye project existing terminals pe congestion kam karke overall rail operations ko behtar banane ki ummeed hai.

Trains originating from Jogeshwari should not halt at BVI, they should halt at BSR instead for the benefit of pax of Northern suburbs.
