The existing AC waiting hall has been leased out by the Chakradharpur division for revenue, forcing AC class passengers to pay hourly fees for using it, leading to complaints and disputes. The absence of ramps also poses difficulties for senior citizens and patients, who have to be carried across platforms in wheelchairs.

Pehle platform number one pe AC class yaatriyon ke liye waiting hall tha, lekin Chakradharpur division ne usko revenue ke liye ek agency ko lease de diya. Ab yaatriyon ko use karne ke liye hourly fees dena padta hai, jisse bahut saari shikayaten aur hangama ho raha hai. Ramps na hone ki wajah se senior citizens aur patients ko wheelchair se line par karke dusre platform par le jana padta hai.
