PM Modi to inaugurate Pune Metro virtually on Sunday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the Shivajinagar District Court to Swargate Metro line in Pune on September 29th, 2024. Originally, he was scheduled to launch projects worth ₹22,600 crore, including the Metro line inauguration. While preparations were underway at SP College grounds for the PM's visit, heavy rain forced the cancellation. NCP leader Supriya Sule suggested an online inauguration due to the weather, while another NCP leader, Prashant Jagtap, threatened to open the Metro line to the public if the government did not do so. Mr. Jagtap claims the line was deliberately kept closed pending the PM's inauguration.

thi. Asli mein, unhe ₹22,600 crore ke projects launch karne the, jisme Metro line ka inauguration bhi shamil tha. Jab PM ke visit ki taiyari SP College grounds mein ho rahi thi, tab heavy rain ki wajah se cancel kar diya gaya. NCP leader Supriya Sule ne weather ki wajah se online inauguration ka sujhav diya, jabki dusre NCP leader, Prashant Jagtap ne dhamki di ki agar government aisa nahi karegi toh woh public ke liye Metro line khol denge. Mr. Jagtap ka claim hai ki Metro line deliberately PM ke inauguration ke wait mein band rakhi gayi thi.
