reported, some passengers are suspected to be injured. Southern Railway confirmed that the accident involved train number 12578 (MYS-DBG) at around 8:30 PM. Rescue teams from Chennai Central and NDRF have been dispatched to the site. Railway authorities have launched rescue operations and are working to evacuate passengers. Helpline numbers have been released for passengers to receive information about the incident. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has instructed officials to monitor the situation, ensure medical aid and transportation for affected passengers, and expedite rescue operations.

Chennai Central se rescue teams aur NDRF ko haadsa sthali pe bheja gaya hai. Railway authorities ne rescue operations start kiye hai aur yaatriyon ko nikalne ka kaam jaari hai. Yaatriyon ko information dene ke liye helpline numbers jaari kiye gaye hain. Tamil Nadu ke Mukhyamantri M.K. Stalin ne officials ko haadsa sthali pe jaane, prabhavit yaatriyon ke liye medical sahayta aur transportation arrange karne aur rescue operations ko jaldi karne ke liye kaha hai.
