On the day of the incident, Sapna argued with her husband and left the child at the station. She then called her husband and informed him about the incident, but he did not go to the station as he suspected her intentions. The police clarified that Sapna did not intend to abandon the child permanently but did so due to the argument. Nevertheless, they have filed a case against her.

Jhagde ke din, Sapna ne apne husband se jhagda kiya aur phir apna bachcha station pe chhod diya. Usne apne husband ko call kiya aur bataya, par usne station pe nahi gaya kyunki usko Sapna ke intentions par shak tha. Police ne bataya ki Sapna ka matlab bachche ko permanently chhodne ka nahi tha, woh sirf jhagde ki wajah se bachche ko chhod gayi thi. Lekin police ne Sapna ke khilaf case register kar diya hai.
