had ventured out of the Chirubeda forest in Saranda, causing disruptions in operations at Manoharpur, Goilkera, and Rourkela. The Howrah-Mumbai Mail was halted at Ghatsila, while the Shalimar-Kurla Express was stopped further on at Chakradharpur. Train operations resumed at 10 km/h with horns after the elephants were driven off the tracks by forest department staff. Notably, a few days prior, a baby elephant was killed and another injured after being hit by a goods train at the same location.

shuru ho gaya. Hathyon ka jhund, takreeban 28 ki sankhya mein, Saranda ke Chirubeda jungle se nikal kar, Manoharpur, Goilkera, aur Rourkela mein operations ko bhi prabhavit kiya. Howrah-Mumbai Mail ko Ghatsila mein rok diya gaya, aur Shalimar-Kurla Express ko Chakradharpur se aage rok diya gaya. Raat 11:30 baje ke baad, forest department ke staff ne hathyon ko track se khdedne ke baad, railway ne 10 km/h ki raftar se horns ke saath trains ka chalna shuru karne ka aadesh jaari kiya. Yaad rakhiye, kuchh din pehle, ishi jagah par, ek malgadi ke saath hathi ke bachche ki maut ho gayi thi, aur ek aur bachcha ghayal ho gaya tha.
