over 14 months, marking the longest tunnelling drive in DMRC's Phase IV. The tunneling project, executed by Afcons, traversed through densely populated areas like Rana Pratap Bagh and Punjabi Basti Colony, passing under the Najafgarh drain. Despite challenges, including submerged water and construction near Ghanta Ghar station, no structural damage occurred. The tunnels, featuring six cross passages for passenger safety, were built at a depth of 14-15 metres, and they have an internal diameter of 5.8 metres. TBM Bhoomi started on June 18, 2023, followed by TBM Srishti on August 19, 2023.

sirf 14 months mein excavate kiya, jo DMRC ke Phase IV mein sabse lamba tunnelling drive hai. Afcons dwara execute kiya gaya tunnelling project, Rana Pratap Bagh aur Punjabi Basti Colony jaise densely populated areas se ho kar gujara, aur Najafgarh drain ke neeche se bhi gujara. Challenges ke bawajood, jisme submerged water aur Ghanta Ghar station ke paas construction bhi shamil hai, kisi structure ko koi nuksan nahi hua. Tunnels, jisme passenger safety ke liye six cross passages hain, 14-15 metres ki depth par banaye gaye hain, aur unka internal diameter 5.8 metres hai. TBM Bhoomi 18 June, 2023 ko start hui thi, uske baad TBM Srishti 19 August, 2023 ko.
