The CPRO of Eastern Railway, Kausik Mitra, emphasized the affordability and convenience of rail travel compared to road travel, pointing out the significant difference in fares and travel times. He also highlighted the availability of convenient options for ticket booking, including the UTS App and QR code scanning, and the presence of Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) at all major suburban stations. To assist those unfamiliar with the ATVMs, retired railway staff have been employed on a contractual basis at various locations.

Unhone ticket booking ke liye convenient options hone ki baat bhi batayi, jaise ki UTS App aur QR code scanning, aur sabhi major suburban stations pe Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) bhi hai. ATVMs ka istemal karne mein pareshani hone walon ki madad ke liye retired railway staff ko contractual basis pe kaam pe laga diya gaya hai.
