Platform number seven has already been opened, making it easier for passengers to get around. The railway administration is also working on improving passenger amenities on platform number one, similar to what was done on platform number one. The railway administration is constantly working on developing the station, aiming to make it more beautiful. A revamp of the station is also planned, involving the demolition of the old structure and its reconstruction into a grand and attractive new model. A new model will be placed near the VIP gate. The makeover is estimated to cost ₹400 crores.

chhor pe foot overbridge the, toh train pakadne ke liye yaatriyon ko lambi doori tay karni pad rahi thi, yeh dhyaan mein rakh kar naya foot overbridge banaya gaya hai. Platform number seven pehle hi start ho chuka hai, iss se yaatriyon ko aane-jane mein suvidha ho rahi hai. Iske saath hi yahaan pe platform number one ki tarah hi yaatri suvidha badhane pe kaam chal raha hai. Raipur station ko khubsoorat banane ke liye railway prashasan lagatar vikas kaam kara raha hai. Station ka re-development abhi baki hai. Station ke purane structure ko tod kar new model ke roop mein ise bhavya aur aakarshak banane ki yojana ko antim roop diya ja raha hai. VIP gate ke paas naya model rakha jaayega. 400 crore ki kharch se iski surat badlegi.
