Aarti Devi's foot slipped as she attempted to board the moving train, resulting in her falling under it. The train was halted, and RPF personnel along with her companion, Awadhesh Kumar, rescued her and rushed her to the Sadar Hospital, from where she was referred to SKMCH but died en route. SKMCH doctors confirmed her death upon arrival at the emergency ward. RPF authorities claimed that CCTV footage showed Aarti Devi trying to board the moving train, which contradicted the account of her family. They further stated that Aarti Devi was traveling to Delhi with her brother and had reserved berths 11 and 12 in coach G1 of the Garib Rath.

ke Bakhtpur ki Rati Devi (25) ke roop me hui hai. Woh apne parivar ke saath train me chadne ke liye bhag kar pahunchi thi. Platform 1 se 3 tak exam candidates se bhara hua tha, jiske karan train chalu hone pe bahut confusion tha. Aarti Devi ka paon chalu train me chadne ke dauran fisal gaya aur woh train ke niche gir gayi. Train rukwa di gayi aur RPF ke jawan aur mahila ke saath aye Awadhesh Kumar ne use train se nikala aur usko Sadar Hospital le gaye. Wahan se usko SKMCH refer kar diya gaya, lekin raaste me hi uski maut ho gayi. SKMCH ke doctors ne emergency ward me pahunchne pe hi uski maut ki pushti ki. RPF ne claim kiya ki CCTV footage me dikhaya gaya ki Aarti Devi chalu train me chadne ki koshish kar rahi thi, jo uske parivar ke kahne ke virudh hai. Unhone bataya ki Aarti Devi apne bhai ke saath Garib Rath se Delhi ja rahi thi aur usne Coach G1 me 11 aur 12 number ke berth book kiye the.
