Kashmir saw snowfall, with temperatures dropping to -5°C in Srinagar and a thin layer of ice forming on Dal Lake. Punjab recorded temperatures between 6° and 9°C, prompting the state government to adjust school timings to 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM until January 14th. Delhi experienced some relief from the cold, with a minimum temperature of 10.1°C and a maximum of 16°C. According to Skymet, dense fog is expected in parts of Punjab and western Uttar Pradesh for the next three days, while Haryana and eastern Uttar Pradesh are predicted to experience very dense fog for the next two days. IMD forecasts light rain in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala on January 2nd. An area of low pressure forming in the Arabian Sea could cause winds of 45-55 km per hour in the Comorin region, southeast Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep, and the surrounding southwest Arabian Sea. Fishermen have been advised to avoid venturing out to sea in these areas.

aa gayi. Punjab me temperature 6°-9°C ke beech tha, isliye government ne school timings change kiye 10:00 AM se 3:00 PM tak 14 January tak. Delhi me thodi relief mili, minimum temperature 10.1°C aur maximum 16°C raha. Skymet ke according, Punjab aur western UP me next 3 days tak dense fog rahega, Haryana aur eastern UP me next 2 days tak very dense fog rahega. IMD ke according, UP, MP, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, aur Kerala me 2 January ko light rain hone ki sambhavna hai. Arabian Sea me low pressure area ban raha hai, isse Comorin region, southeast Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep, aur aaspas ke south west Arabian Sea me 45-55 km per hour ki speed se hawa chal sakti hai. Machhuaaron ko in areas me samundar me jaane se rok diya gaya hai.
