Notably, the Dibrugarh-New Delhi Humsafar Express was delayed by 15.35 hours, the Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express by 9 hours, the Firozpur-Agartala Tripura Sundari Express by 5.75 hours, the Barouni-New Delhi Humsafar Express by 21 hours, the Kochuveli-Gorakhpur Raptisagar Express by 19.50 hours, the New Delhi-Dibrugarh Humsafar Express by 13 hours, the Bhagalpur-Gandhidham Express by 10 hours, the Nandan Kanan Express by 3.75 hours, and the Hatia-Anand Vihar Jharkhand Sampark Kranti Express by 4.5 hours. The strike at the bus station resulted in a quiet day with few buses operating.

Khaas karke, aas-paas ke shaharon ke liye chalne wali trains ke general coaches mein jaane ki jagah bhi mushkil se mili.
