टाटानगर स्टेशन में आधे से भी कम हुई जनरल टिकट केंद्रों की संख्या

The number of general ticket counters at Tatanagar station in the South Eastern Railway zone has been reduced by more than half, leading to speculation that the railway is planning to close them. The number of automatic ticket vending machines (ATVM) is increasing, while the number of general ticket counters is...

decreasing. Tatanagar previously had 10 general ticket counters, but now only four counters are operational at the ticket center and Burmamines Gate. Booking staff are being trained and deployed for ticket checking duties on trains and stations. This suggests that the railway is moving towards closing general ticket counters in Tatanagar. In the Chakradharpur and Adityapur divisions, booking clerks are now responsible for selling general tickets at many stations, while employees are being shifted to parcel and goods sheds. This is expected to increase railway revenue and save on future employee expenses. Tatanagar is set to receive six more ATVM, bringing the total to 12. The railway has changed its regulations for operating ATVM, now allowing external individuals to operate them on commission, in addition to retired railway employees. Plans are in place to have operators on different shifts for 24-hour service at these machines.

South Eastern Railway zone ke Tatanagar station pe general ticket counters ki sankhya aadhe se bhi kam ho gayi hai, jisse yeh aashanka jaa rahi hai ki railway unko band karne ki taiyyari mein hai. Automatic ticket vending machines (ATVM) ki sankhya badhti ja rahi hai, jabki general ticket counters ki...

sankhya kam hoti ja rahi hai. Pehle Tatanagar mein 10 general ticket counters the, lekin ab ticket center aur Burmamines Gate pe sirf chaar counters chal rahe hain. Booking walon ko training deke trains aur stations pe ticket check karne ki duty laga di ja rahi hai. Iss se yeh pata chal raha hai ki railway Tatanagar mein general ticket counters band karne ki taraf badh raha hai. Chakradharpur aur Adityapur mandal ke kai stations pe booking clerks ab general tickets bechne ke zimmedar hain, aur employees ko parcel aur goods sheds mein badala ja raha hai. Iss se railway ka revenue badhega aur future mein employees pe kharch kam hoga. Tatanagar mein 6 aur ATVM lagne wali hain, jisse unki sankhya 12 ho jayegi. Railway ne ATVM operate karne ke rules badal diye hain, ab retired railway employees ke alawa, bahar ke log bhi commission pe operate kar sakte hain. 24 ghante service ke liye in machines pe shift ke hisaab se operators rakhne ki planning hai, taaki raat mein bhi travellers ko tickets mil sake.
