They tried to gather information about the snake charmers in several villages near Shankargarh. The RPF is also seeking assistance from the Shankargarh station police. Police have retrieved footage from several CCTV cameras installed near Shankargarh station. On Tuesday, several snake charmers were detained on suspicion. The incident occurred early Monday morning when a group of snake charmers boarded the general compartment of the train and robbed a dozen passengers of their money. The snake charmers had several dangerous snakes with them. Around 5:40 am, the snake charmers and their accomplices looted the passengers in a strange way. After robbing the passengers, the snake charmers pulled the chain before Shankargarh railway station and jumped off the train, escaping.
