Chandigarh. The 'One Station One Product' initiative will be launched at major stations including Ambala Cantt, offering dedicated stalls. The total cost of these projects is 85,457 crore rupees, with the DFCCIL corridor from New Khurja to Sahnewal alone costing 11,859 crore rupees. This section is 401 km long. The DFCCIL corridor from Pilkhni to Sahnewal has cost 5522.31 crore rupees, including 2650.31 crore for civil works, 932 crore for electrical and signaling systems, 510 crore for railway over and under bridges, and 1430 crore for land acquisition. The new stations and cargo terminals under Ambala division include: New Sarai Banjara, New Barara, New Darajpur, New Dukheri, New Jagadhari Workshop, New Kalanor, New Kesari, New Sarai Banjara Junction, New Shambu, New Pilkhni, New Mandi Gobindgarh, New Ambala City, and New Sirhind. There will also be goods sheds at New Pilkhni, Koli, New Khanna, New Mandi Gobindgarh, and Shekha. The Rajpura-Bathinda rail section will see double lines in Barnaula-Hadia and Nabha.
