Trains affected include: New Jalpaiguri-Udaipur City Weekly Express, Dibrugarh-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, Agartala-Rani Kamalapati Special Train, Sealdah-New Alipurduar Padatik Express, Nagercoil Junction-Dibrugarh Special, New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express, New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express, Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Vande Bharat Express, Guwahati, Howrah Sarai Ghat Express, Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Northeast Express, Guwahati-Bengaluru Express, New Jalpaiguri-Howrah Vande Bharat Express, Kamakhya-Gaya Express, Dibrugarh-Howrah Kamrup Express, Guwahati-Okha Express, New Tinsukia-Tambaram Express, Bamunhat-Sealdah Uttar Banga Express, Dibrugarh-Kanyakumari Express, New Alipurduar-Sealdah Teesta Torsa Express, Haldibari-Sealdah Darjeeling Mail, New Alipurduar-Sealdah Padatik Express, Guwahati-Jammu Tawi Lohit Express, and Kamakhya-Delhi Brahmaputra Mail. Nine people died and over 46 were injured in the accident. The railway authorities have ordered an investigation into the incident and prioritized restoring train operations on the affected route.

Railway authorities ne is train accident ki jaanch ke aadesh de diye hain aur affected route par train operations ko restore karna pehli priority hai.
