The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has suggested to the Madhya Pradesh government that connecting Indore, Ujjain, and Pithampur with a Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) would be beneficial for future traffic management. The DMRC has studied the daily traffic between Indore-Ujjain, Ujjain-Pithampur, and Indore-Pithampur, as well as surrounding cities like...

Dewas and Dhar. Currently, 3 lakh out of 10.3 lakh people commute from surrounding cities, a number projected to reach 4 lakh by 2028, 4.51 lakh by 2031, and 6.38 lakh by 2048. The RRTS, similar to a metro, is a high-speed transit system with fewer stations, designed to connect satellite cities. It operates on elevated or underground tracks, with speeds ranging from 160 to 180 km/h, compared to metro's 80 km/h. The DMRC has proposed three routes, with the third route, connecting Ujjain to Indore and then to Pithampur through a combined track, being deemed the best. This route spans 85 km with 29 stations, including 7.7 km underground and 77.9 km elevated, at an estimated cost of 17634 crores.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) ne Madhya Pradesh sarkar ko suggest kiya hai ki Indore, Ujjain aur Pithampur ko Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) se jodna future traffic ke liye faydemand hoga. DMRC ne Indore-Ujjain, Ujjain-Pithampur aur Indore-Pithampur ke beech ka traffic aur nearby cities jaise Dewas aur Dhar se aane...

waale logon ka study kiya hai. Aaj kal 10.3 lakh logon mein se 3 lakh log aas paas ke cities se aate jaate hain. 2028 tak ye number 4 lakh ho jaayega, 2031 mein 4.51 lakh aur 17 saal baad 6.38 lakh ho jaayega. RRTS metro ki tarah high-speed transit system hai, jismein kam stations hote hain. Yeh elevated ya underground track pe chalata hai, aur 160 se 180 km/h speed pe chal sakta hai, jabki metro 80 km/h pe chalti hai. DMRC ne teen routes propose kiye hain, jismein teesra route, jo Ujjain se Indore aur phir Pithampur tak jaata hai, sabse behtar hai. Ye route 85 km lamba hai, jismein 29 stations hain, jismein 7.7 km underground aur 77.9 km elevated hai, aur iski lagat 17634 crore rupees hai.
