more... Piling involves digging into the ground and placing an iron mesh beneath it. Three to six groups of piles are used to create a pile cap. These pile caps will serve as the foundation for the pillars of the elevated section of the metro corridor. The second corridor (CSA to Barra-8) will see the construction of a 4.5 km long elevated metro section from CSA to Corridor-2 Depot ramp and from double culvert ramp to Barra-8. This will include five elevated stations - CSA, Vijay Nagar Crossing, Shastri Chowk, Barra-7, and Barra-8, and three underground stations - Rawatpur, Kakadev, and Double Pulya. Construction of the 4.10 km long underground section has already commenced. Under the 24 km long Corridor-1, metro services are operational between IIT and Motijheel (9 km), while work is progressing rapidly on the remaining sections - Chunni Ganj to Nayaganj and Kanpur Central to Transport Nagar underground sections, as well as the approximately 5 km long Baradevi to Naubasta elevated section.

Corridor-2 (CSA se Barra-8) section mein CSA se Corridor-2 Depot ramp tak aur double puliya ramp se lekar Barra-8 tak kareeb 4.5 km lamba elevated metro section ka nirman kiya ja raha hai.
