The train was halted near a tunnel near Rane Jalkhe for two hours as part of the drill. The exercise aimed to assess the efficiency of the agencies in responding to emergencies and their speed of arrival at the scene. This exercise, which was kept confidential, took everyone by surprise. The fuel-carrying train was then allowed to continue its journey towards Surat.

Is drill mein ek aise maalgaadi ka derailment simulate kiya gaya tha jo fuel le ja rahi thi, jiske karan Railway Protection Force, railway officials, aur railway police ki taraf se sahayta praapt ki gayi. Rane Jalkhe ke paas tunnel ke karib maalgaadi ko do ghante ke liye roka gaya. Is drill ka maksad agencies ki ghatnaon par sahayta dene ki karmasheelta aur ghatna sthal par pahunchne ki tezi ka mulayankan karna tha. Yeh drill confidential rakha gaya tha aur sabhi isse hairan reh gaye. Fuel le ja rahi maalgaadi ko fir Surat ki taraf jaane ki permission di gayi.
