and is designed for defense. It has two courtyards, two gates, underground rooms, and secret tunnels. The fort was built by ruler Sawant Singh around the 18th century, possibly named after his wife, Gulbai. Local legend states the Bijawar Maharajas hid their treasure in the fort, and Gulbai's spirit guards it. The fort's architectural beauty and historical significance attract tourists.
