Saini has been actively involved in BJP politics for several years, holding various positions in the party, including the State General Secretary in 1996, District President of BJP Youth Front in Ambala in 2005, and State General Secretary of BJP Kisan Morcha in 2009. He was elected as an MLA from the Narayangarh Assembly seat in 2014, became a Minister of State in the Haryana government in 2016, and was elected as MP from Kurukshetra in 2019.
