Sleeper class coaches and a generator power car, departed at 7:40 a.m. from Visakhapatnam, following the same route and schedule as the cancelled Vande Bharat. Passengers were offered full refunds for their original tickets and could purchase general tickets for the special train, paying the difference on board. Railway officials at Visakhapatnam Junction efficiently managed the situation, including ticket cancellations and the issuance of new tickets, within an hour.
